We've put ice cubes in the toilet
Got our PJs inside out
And spoons beneath our pillows
So there can be no doubt

That when we wake up tomorrow
Instead of math and spelling bees
There will be a winter wonderland
As far as we can see

It's time we had a snow day
We really need a break
Kids and teachers both have taken
All that they can take

So let's make a giant snowman
Trace angels on our backs
Build a fort and throw some snowballs
When the kid next door attacks

Go flying down the steepest hills
Upon our trusty sleds
Drink a gallon of hot cocoa
Before falling into bed
